Cohesiveness : All those forces or factors that cause group members to remain in the group

Conformity: a type of social influence in which individuals change their attitudes or behavior to adhere to existing norms.

Ingroup : The social group to which an individual perceives himself/ herself as belonging.

Outgroup: Any group other than the ingroup or the one to which an individual perceives as belonging.
